Depending on the type and the configuration of the aircraft, we may accept up to four passengers to accompany the patient. If the patient requires several medical personnel, then fewer passengers will be able to accompany the patient.
When a patient requires a stretcher during an air transport, then an air ambulance will be most needed. Other occasions may require the patient to go to a specialized hospital for immediate treatment or specialized rehabilitation. Also patients and their family members may prefer using an air ambulance for the comfort and worry-free bedside-to-bedside service that we offer rather than using a commercial airline that do not accept patients on domestic flights.
An air ambulance is a fixed-wing aircraft with built in stretcher system and fully equipped with Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical equipment and medical personnel to assist in the transport of an ill person from one city to another, regardless of distance.
