Air Ambulance, Arranged in One Call

One call, and our flight team arranges the rest — the ground ambulance, the ICU-equipped aircraft, the handoff at the receiving hospital. Bedside to bedside, 24/7/365.
  • In service since 1990
  • Thousands of missions completed
  • Zero accidents or incidents
  • Bases in the US and Europe

One call. We handle the planning, the price, and the flight — bedside to bedside.

What an air ambulance costs

The price depends on three things: how far the patient flies, the aircraft the route needs, and the level of medical care in the air. So we quote every transport individually — free, and with no obligation. Before you commit to anything, you'll have a real number for your exact route.

If insurance may cover the transport, we can help you work through it:

  • Coverage and benefits. We can assist in verifying what the patient's policy covers.
  • Pre-authorization. We may also assist in obtaining it, where possible.
  • Claim submission. Once the transport is complete, we can assist in submitting a claim on the patient's behalf.

We'll work with any insurance company that guarantees payment, and we accept private, government, and corporate pay. If another provider gives you a better quote, tell us — we'll do our best to match it.

What your quote includes

  • Medically equipped aircraft
  • Flight medical crew
  • Ground ambulance, both ends
  • Coordination, end to end

One figure, in writing, before anything is booked.

“…a quote that said final price from the get go.” — Rock A., Google

What does the patient need?

Every mission is matched to the patient — the aircraft, the crew, the equipment, and the route.

“They need critical care, the whole way”

Private Air Ambulance

A dedicated medical jet with an ICU-standard, ALS-equipped interior and a critical-care flight crew. For patients who need care through the whole flight, or the most direct route — bedside to bedside.

  • Neonatal and pediatric transport
  • Infectious-disease (isolation) transport
  • Organ-transplant transport

“They're stable, but can't sit up for a long flight”

Commercial Airline Stretcher

An FAA-approved stretcher system aboard a scheduled commercial flight, our medical crew beside the patient the whole way. For stable patients on long international routes, it can save families up to tens of thousands of dollars compared to a private air ambulance.

  • Family can usually book seats on the same flight

“They mostly need a medical professional beside them”

Medical Escort / Flight Nurse

A flight nurse or paramedic travels with a stable patient on a commercial flight, managing medication, mobility, and every connection from departure to arrival.

  • Long-distance ground ambulance, when the road makes more sense

For hospitals, case managers, and discharge planners

Critical care transport, domestic and worldwide. We can assist with insurance verification, pre-authorization, and claim submission, and we'll work with any insurer that guarantees payment. Send the case through the transport request form or call the 24/7 main line — the same line families use — and our flight team coordinates directly with yours.

Common questions

The price depends on the route, the aircraft, and the level of care the patient needs in flight — which is why the generic numbers you find online are rarely right for your situation. A quote from us takes one call, is free, and carries no obligation.

Some health and travel-insurance policies cover medically necessary air transport; some cover part of it, some none — it depends on the policy. You won’t have to work that out alone: our flight coordinators can assist with verifying coverage, obtaining pre-authorization where possible, and submitting a claim on the patient’s behalf once the transport is complete. We’ll work with any insurance company that guarantees payment.

Coordination begins with your first call, any hour of any day. Most domestic missions can depart within 24 hours of confirmation — sometimes the same day. International routes add flight permits and clearances, so we’ll give you a realistic timeline for your route on the phone.

Often, yes. How many seats depends on the aircraft — larger aircraft can take more companions, and if the patient needs extra medical crew aboard, seats may be limited. On commercial-stretcher transports, family can usually book seats on the same flight, and on most neonatal and pediatric flights a parent flies with their child. Ask when you call and we’ll confirm what the aircraft for your route allows.

One all-inclusive figure: the ground ambulance that picks the patient up, the flight with its medical crew and equipment, and the ground ambulance to the receiving facility — unless you ask us to arrange it differently. You’ll know exactly what the price covers before anything is booked.

Yes — worldwide, with bases in the US and Europe. Our international work centers on routes connecting the US and Europe with Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, and we’ve flown medical repatriations since 1990. Flight permits, fuel, ground handling, and assistance through customs are all arranged in-house. International callers: +1-305-232-7700.
