1. WHAT IS AN AIR AMBULANCE?
A. An air ambulance is a
fixed-wing aircraft with built in stretcher system and fully
equipped with Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical equipment
and medical personnel to assist in the transport of an ill
person from one city to another, regardless of distance.
2. WHAT SERVICES DOES ADVANCED AIR AMBULANCE, CORP.,
PROVIDE?
A. At Advanced Air Ambulance Corp., we provide many
types of services to suit the patient’s particular medical
needs. In most circumstances, Advanced Air Ambulance, Corp.,
will provide complete worry-free BEDSIDE-to-BEDSIDE service,
which means we will provide a ground ambulance to pick up
the patient from their bedside to the nearest possible
airport. We will then fly the patient on an awaiting air
ambulance that is medically equipped with Advanced Life
Support (ALS) equipment and staffed with a Registered Nurse
and/or ALS Paramedic. Upon arrival to the destination
airport, an awaiting ambulance will transfer the patient to
the final destination. We also provide specialized medical
staff when needed. For example, when a patient requires a
respirator or ventilator, a Respiratory Therapist is
required to operate such a device on board the flight.
Physicians may also be available upon request, at additional
fees. In addition, Advanced Air Ambulance, Corp. provides
Medical Escort Service for those patients that require
medical care on a commercial airliner.
3. WHAT KIND OF MEDICAL PERSONNEL DOES ADVANCED AIR
AMBULANCE, CORP., PROVIDE?
A. Advanced Air Ambulance, Corp.,
provides, in most circumstances, a Registered Nurse and/or
an ALS Paramedic to attend to patients on board. When a
patient needs to be transported with a respirator or
ventilator, a Respiratory Therapist is required to treat the
patient along with a nurse. At Advanced Air Ambulance,
Corp., we also provide Neonatal and Pediatric nurses to take
care of infants in incubators. Specialized physicians, such
as Cardiologist, Neurologist, ER Physicians and or
Orthopedists, are available upon request.
4. WHAT TYPE OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IS ON BOARD AN AIR
AMBULANCE?
A. All of the aircraft are equipped with on board
certified Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical equipment. The
medical equipment consists of, but is not limited to,
cardiac monitors, defibrillators, IV pumps, infusion pumps,
IV solutions, medical oxygen, oxygen supplies with all
necessary regulators and gauges to deliver oxygen,
intubations equipment, respirator/ventilator, FAA approved
stretcher, oropharyngeal airways, hand operated bag-valve
mask resuscitators, portable suction units, pulse oximeters,
blood pressure cuffs, etc.
5. DO YOU PROVIDE NEONATAL OR PEDIATRIC TEAM TO TRANSPORT
INFANTS AND SMALL CHILDREN?
A. Yes. We provide a team of
Neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists to take care of
infants in incubators or isolate. We also provide a team of
Pediatric medical staff that will attend pediatric patients.
In most flights, parents will be able to accompany their
loved ones.

A. Yes. We recommend that you contact us prior to the
transfer, when you are placed on the transplant list, to
discuss our aircraft availability, payment arrangements, and
other details. However, due to time limitation, we urge you
